Reclaimed or Antique lumber is used primarily for Decor or Home Building.
By definition, reclaimed wood is processed wood, retrieved from its original application for purposes of subsequent use. Most reclaimed lumber comes from timbers and decking, having been rescued from old barns, factories and warehouses. Some companies use wood from less traditional structures, such as boxcars, coal mines and even wine barrels. Many people use reclaimed lumber for siding, architectural details, cabinetry, furniture or flooring. The options are endless!
Reclaimed wood is good for the earth, as it reuses wood that would normally be burned or thrown into the landfill. Many times, the character of this wood is greater than that of newly cut and planed lumber, because time has passed and the wood has aged, giving it a beautiful look.
If you have reclaimed wood that you would like to lay as flooring, have it planed to size or cut for a specific purpose, let us know! We will mill it to your specifications. Also, if you have reclaimed wood you would like to sell, please contact us. We would love to hear from you!
